Introducing Dr. Boghara
"Dentistry is about restoring confidence, not just replacing teeth."
Dr. Boghara graduated from Dharmsinh Desai University, one of the top-ranked deemed universities in India, in 2010. Since then, he has dedicated his career to dentistry — continuing his education while serving kids, adults, and seniors with a wide range of treatments, and eventually narrowing his practice to the specialties that interest him most. He moved to Calgary in 2014.
Committed to ongoing education and the latest advancements in the field, Dr. Boghara offers cutting-edge treatments and techniques. Whether patients need orthodontics, surgical procedures, or cosmetic enhancements involving one or multiple implants, they can trust they’re in capable hands. He has a particular passion for prosthetic dentistry, challenging rehabilitations, and re-treatments of previously failed procedures.
He is happily married to his wife, Vibha, and is blessed with a daughter, Arya — who, along with Vibha, will happily tell you Dr. Boghara spends most of his free time reading, watching, and learning “dental stuff” to stay sharp on the latest advancements.

Dental Implants
A dental implant is a small titanium post placed into the jawbone to act as an artificial tooth root. Once it has healed and fused with the bone, a custom crown, bridge, or denture is attached on top, giving you a replacement tooth that looks, feels, and functions like a natural one.
Most healthy adults with adequate jawbone density are candidates. Factors like gum disease, uncontrolled diabetes, smoking, or significant bone loss can affect eligibility, but treatments such as bone grafting can often still make implants possible. A consultation and 3D scan will confirm whether implants are right for you.
The implant is placed under local anesthesia (or sedation, if preferred), so patients typically feel little to no discomfort during the procedure. Mild soreness or swelling for a few days afterward is normal and is usually managed well with over-the-counter pain relievers.
